The thing about having built up heavy sunk costs, large egos, and deep motivated reasoning to reinforce and entrench the cisheteronormative Christofascist techbroligarch patriarchy, its institutions, and ritual toxic traditionalism, is that when labeled as “#weird”, it’s unintuitive to pick up the term and wield it as a defense.
That is why calling the #AntiNormies creepy weirdos is so incredibly effective.

Personally, I find it very validating and a relief.
I’ve been using the #AntiNormie / #AntiNormies hashtags to describe the coalition of authoritarian Christofascist techbroligarchs for years, and it finally - finally! - became normal to just call them “weird.”
So here for it.
