Der antikythera Mechanismus aus dem 1 jh vor chr faszinierte so manche Forscher.
Besonders jene nach dem 2 WK.Und trotz seiner Kuriosität, weil unser Bild vom der plumpen antike Wiederlegend ist er immer ein Kuriosum geblieben.
Vielleicht weil nicht viel mehr gleichartige Mechanismen gefunden wurden.
Vielleicht aber weil wir tief in unserem inneren spüren das diese funktionalen Gerätschaften, so fein gearbeitet sie auch sind, so viel wissen auch erforderlich war um sie zu konstruieren letztlich doch nur mechanisch immer dasselbe zu tun vermögen.
Mich wundert es nicht das Griechenland nicht Feuer und Flamme dafür war.
Das Leben wollte sich sowieso nicht einen takt aufdrängen lassen.
Es freute sich nur an der Erkenntnis.Erst viel später waren die Menschen durch viel mehr Kriege und Leiden bereit um der Ordnung Willen ihr leben einem allgemein gültigen takt zu unterwerfen.

@evelynefoerster Es ist sowieso wahnsinnig, was die früher schon alles so präzis berechnen und herstellen konnten, da stauen ich immer!😲 Sehr gut möglich, dass es wegen quasi kleinen Dingen "harzte". - In Grenchen ist übrigens einer, der ein #Tellurium nachbauen wollte (ich weiss nicht, ob er mittlerweile damit fertig ist), Marc Maradan.
