Help expand abortion access in #NovaScotia! There is currently a petition to demand that St. Martha's Hospital in #Antigonish provide abortion services.

"The Man Who Wasn't There" is a masterpiece #movie by the #CoenBrothers. Just beautiful. Underrated.
Having watched it numerous times, I never understood the title of the #film. Yesterday, I learned it is borrowed from the poem "#Antigonish" (by William Hughes Mearns) about a haunted house in #NovaScotia.
I still don't know why "The Man Who Wasn't There" is the title of that marvellous #MotionPicture.

Update 8.10 p.m: An RCMP Crisis Negotiation Team is on scene, continuing their work. Officers are beginning to evacuate neighbouring homes to ensure everyone’s safety. Rogers Dr. is still closed at Liberty Ln. We will continue to provide updates as we have more information.

#Antigonish RCMP have arrested a man after a stabbing in downtown Antigonish.

A 22-year-old man has been charged with Aggravated Assault.

I got to sit in with a #choir in #Antigonish tonight, which was super lovely. They're really talented and have a really excellent sound.
It was amusing how most of their songs were about the sea. Coincidence of programming, I'm sure, but it was a real 'Welcome to #NovaScotia' moment for me!
It was also my first time sight-reading #Gaelic, which was a real delight, let me tell you, lol.
