Fell for a #genai image. Found this specific blouse and skirt I was gonna reference for a character of a project I have been working on and mostly off for a long time, only to find it's AI.

Top button knot things are inconsistent and these strips that go all the way around towards the bottom look convincing at first glance but end up being inconsistent on closer look. If you were to try to follow where they'd go, they wouldn't line up in the image. Also, the "middle" buttony things don't work and are clearly mishapen and such. Harder to tell since the image is blurry.

AI (read: generative tech) ‘art’ is like if you went into an art gallery or a museum, stole all the artwork, cut up all of the paintings and then claimed the frankensteined new ‘painting’ as your own… How exactly is this not theft again?

It’s hard for those in power to ever lose it if they never actually get punished for their crimes… But that’s a different topic.

Anyway, any and all company owned AI (Generative Tech) and data centers as they exist currently are inherently unethical on the basis of all of the stolen data that their training sets consists off.

Unfortunately, I don’t believe we live in a world that actually believes in justice- I wish we did, I really wish we did.

It’s only ever paid lip service to it and has used the veneer of justice to only meet out punishment to the already disenfranchised while it lets those who already have power off with a slap on the wrist- this also is authoritarianism imho.

Start calling 'AI' what it actually is. Generative Technology. You can call it something else as a shorthand like Generative Tech or Gen Tech or even GT if you like, but stop calling it AI.
