Dazu natürlich die ganzen Genozid Berichte aller Hilfs- und Menschenrechtsorgas, IGH Gutachten zur Apartheid, Kinofilme.

CW: Some thoughts about German support for Israel
I think that the underlying reasons to support Israel to massacre Palestinians varies strongly by group.
Sure, there is the conservative/nationalist sector with a motivation to relief Germany from its burden of history and while we are at it, to declare antisemitism conveniently as an imported problem of (brown) people. (@ayoub explained this very well)

But I also know many leftist people who are *genuinely* worried about Jews (I mean, I myself am). Their idea is the following: "Israel might be imperfect but is still the only institution that reliably keeps Jews safe. And after all that historic suffering, they *deserve* to be protected. And we, as Germans, have a special responsibility. Never again".
It's just that it is difficult to understand their decision to ignore the moment this discourse helped a rightwing government to commit genocide. (and ethnostate dynamics. The conflict didn't start on October 7th...).
Also, this is a textbook example that media propaganda works. If the victims of ane side are individuallu mourned, but the 'others' are labelled as eliminated terrorists that were a menace this does something with society.
Additionally, there is also a more vanguardist group of fanatic zionist supporters (some of you know the #antideutsch, I guess). And here come into play also dynamics on the micro-level. These people built their identity around zionism and see antisemitism everywhere (it is kmportant to acknowledge that sometimes they are right, but that does not justify to support for Netanyahu). My theory is that antideutsch ideology is so attractive for some because the whole world can be separated easily into good vs bad. And they are iconoclastic, academic-intellectual (talking about Adorno and philosophists) and are absolutely always correct in their analysis.
What I didn't see in Germany as a significant position are Christian Zionists. In the US they are probably a thing, but not here.
Germany has a whole institutional apparatus of Israel-support in form of antisemitism offices in every state. Also, many of the left-leaning people conscious about antisemitism made their way into foundations (an important antifascist foundation is the Amadeu Antonio Stiftung, but they are currently so totally lost in rightwing zionism that they even negated the existence of Palestinians on Nakba day), and institutions as well as civil society working on racism (in Germany, also the civil society is highly institutionalized and there are funded jobs in many areas, which is sometimes good, but also attracts frequently privileged liberals). Also the media, especially the major left newspaper, 'taz', has a very clear zionist position (although they allow some diversity).
Please, this is not a conspiracy theory, but the intent to understand and describe processes on the sociopolitical level. Germans definitely don't need external influence to behave shitty.The good news is that, with all the evidence, the zionist consensus is starting to show fissures. The bad news is that it took so long and that I am still waiting for something meaningful to change.

This statement is made on the anarchist festival in the Netherlands #Pinksterlanddagen (6–8 june 2025):
As a group of anarchist and anti-fascist collectives from the #Netherlands, #Belgium, #Germany, #France, #Chile, #England, #Cyprus, #Spain, #Luxembourg and the #US we highly condemn the support of the #antiDeutsch and the pro #Israel left towards the Zionist State of Israel.
We condemn the hypocrisy of the pro Israel left as a so called anti-fascist and leftist organizations.
As we have seen, the anti-Deutsch movement is actively attacking pro Palestinian protestors as well as promoting islamophobic and anti-refugee narratives. These self proclaimed leftist groups not only support a racist and fascist state, Israel, but also are racist and fascist.
Therefore, we, as anti-fascists, will not collaborate with any pro Israel leftist group. Like Antifa Stockholm shared before. You are not our comrades!
Even more so you are fascist enemies to us, we will not invite you or give space at our events congresses and actions. This critique is the same for any group that is supportive to #Zionism and Israel.
Therefore we repeat to you: “Free Palestine, from the river to the sea”.

This Thursday in Waterskaap, #Groningen:
In every city there are anti-fascist centres, active in political issues and engaged in demonstrations. In #Germany however, the famous #antifa flag is not seen at demonstrations for #Palestine; on the contrary, it is sometimes seen together with that of #Israel. What does this mean? Who are the anti-deutsch and why do the other German antifa tolerate the colonialist drift of this movement?
On Thursday, January 16th starting 7 p.m. we will have a presentation and open mic where we can discuss this together.
The evening will be presented by one of the participants of the protest camp under the parliament in Berlin Besetzung gegen besatzung (Occupy Against Occupation).
A special mention to @anarchists4palestine and Flora fuer alle (Rote Flora for all) for their efforts in #Berlin and #Hamburg.

During the Anarchist Book Fair in Amsterdam a few weeks ago, I joined a very interesting workshop about the (so called) 'Anti-Deutsch' and 'Staatsräson'. The conclusion was that left-wing Zionism is unjustly attributed solely to the Anti-Deutsch themselves. (almost) The whole left-wing political spectrum is corrupted by Zionism. The organizers of the workshop (@scrappy_capy_distro) were also present with a distro during the Book Fair with a lot of interesting zines. I was given three zines about this topic. Fortunately they are also online available. So let's dump some links. This will hopefully inform German leftists (especially anarchists) who are ideologically confused.

Naja, gibt ja schon nen Unterschied zwischen "Antisemitismus nicht verherrlichen", und "einen rassistischen, antipalästinensischen und ziemlich unreflektierten schwarz-weiss-Diskurs zu fahren, der vor vor allem einem korrupten Autokraten hilft, Kriegsverbrechen zu begehen und faschistische Positionen in der Israelischen Gesellschaft zu normalisieren".

Fun fact: The official term for "Ampel" is "#Lichtzeichenanlage (literally: "light signalling apparatus" or something like that).
With small exceptions the #opposition is officially right wing and thus rather worse than any better. There's no true "left", let alone one that rejects #Zionism.
For the German "elites" (philo-)#Zionism is nothing but a convenient vehicle in order to forever be #fascists while feeling truly good about themselves since they side with "the #Jews", now. Yes, they don't even realize how #antisemitic that is and also they just don't care. Mostly left-leaning and totally non-halakhic anti-Zionist Jews are regularly called "#Hamas supporters" (especially by self proclaimed "anti-fascists", so called "#Antideutsche", at least in the past) and are treated like (or even as) "#Islamists" (which is basically the most despised kind of political actor one can be in Germany). Such "Islamists" are automatically assumed to be #antisemites and therefore leftist Jews who are falsely accused of being "#Islamist" are by definition antisemites, too (meaning, in the eyes of the state #ideology adhering mainstream, i.e. those that believe in the "#Staatsräson", the "raîson d'état" of "(#Zionist) #Israel's perpetual existence and security").
Yes, they really believe that there has to be a Zionist state in #Palestine in order for #Germany to be #Germany. 🚑
This is a completely different approach to "Israel" than that of the "evangelicals" but in the end it comes down to pretty much the same. Should there be (semi-)total war involving the Zionist entity Germany would rather perish with it than to change sides.
If you think that Adolf #Hitler would have loved that you're probably right. These people are really so messed up.
German #politicians and other #officials are basically #puppets of their own #psychosis. It's self-induced #serfdom; some sort of #Nazi daddy issues resulting from the trauma of losing two World Wars. The (to become) #Nazis were traumatized by Germany's first big loss and therefore were more or less compelled/doomed to start another "Great War" to "fix" the country (not an excuse, don't get me wrong!) and then the second, even bigger #catastrophe was probably just too much for the Germans' national #psyche.
Now please don't ask me how this insane story will end because I really don't want to ruin everybody's day with my guess. 🙄
