Mi próximo PC va a tener más IA que CPU y no sé cómo sentirme.

He estado viendo los nuevos procesadores que vienen con núcleos NPU dedicados solo para Inteligencia Artificial. A ver, sobre el papel suena increíble, mucha potencia y tal... pero me escama. ¿Para qué quieren que tengamos tanta potencia de IA en local? ¿Es para que Windows me espíe mejor con cosas tipo Recall o para que yo pueda correr mis propios modelos sin que nadie me censure desde una nube?

Estamos en un punto crítico, de verdad. O usamos ese hardware para ser libres de una vez o nos lo van a meter doblado para que seamos simples terminales tontas conectadas a sus servidores. Yo lo tengo clarísimo: ese NPU se va a comer modelos Open Source y localizados o no entra en mi casa. No quiero una IA que me dé sermones morales cada vez que le pido algo técnico.

¿Alguien más está planeando el salto a hardware dedicado o creéis que nos la van a colar con el software de serie?

I honestly don’t understand how the banking and fiat system works anymore. It feels less trustworthy as time goes on.

MY EXPERIENCE:
I tried sending money outside of Europe. In the banking app, I had to select a completely different option than for domestic transfers - no idea why. Then I needed the IBAN (fine) and the BIC/SWIFT code... again, why? Why isn’t that just part of a single address, which would be easier to process?

I completed the transaction, but nothing happened. My account balance stayed the same for about 12 hours, and the recipient didn’t get the money until two days later.

Meanwhile, the app threw a pop-up: “We apologize, but the system is under maintenance; you can’t do anything right now.”

Seriously, what is this? We’re supposed to rely on this system for our money?

IF IT WERE CRYPTO:
- One address. No SWIFT codes. No extra nonsense.
- Instant transaction.
- Almost zero fees.
- No “maintenance” - the network is always online.

It’s wild that a bunch of nerds built something more reliable than giant corporations with entire banking infrastructures.

I’m honestly losing the ability to make sense of the mainstream world.

Ідея децентралізації — це мрія багатьох інтернет-ентузіастів і цифрових анархістів. Вона обіцяє світ без монополій, без цензури, без примусового збору даних. У цьому світі користувачі контролюють свої платформи, а не навпаки. Яскравим прикладом реалізації цієї мрії став **Федиверс** — розгалужена екосистема незалежних сервісів (Mastodon, Pleroma, Lemmy, Pixelfed тощо), що спілкуються між собою через відкритий протокол ActivityPub.
Але навіть у світі без єдиного центру влади, **знищення можливе** — просто воно виглядає інакше. Не через поглинання чи банальні зломи, а через **знецінення, технічний саботаж, інформаційні кампанії** і поступову ерозію довіри.
Цей текст — не інструкція для зловмисника, а радше **спроба застереження**. Ми подивимося, як і чому децентралізовану мережу можна погубити — на прикладі реальних та потенційних вразливостей Федиверсу. Бо щоб зберегти вільне середовище, треба розуміти, **як саме воно може бути зруйноване**.
