Exporting text annotations from books in Onyx Boox e-readers is limited. You get only the page number, text, note, and chapter name, while most notable competitors provide the colour and highlight styles along with this data.
Without this metadata, much of the context can be lost depending on your workflow.
I built this app to extract that information and output a richer JSON file with all the metadata:

Apart from the representative glyphs which are nowhere else available, they can help to establish some kind of #taxonomy based on the names of #blocks and #subheaders, and also provide useful #annotations for #characters, creating #crossreferences between them.

I would like to annotate lemma + POS in a #corpus of short #texts in 3-4 European #languages (mainly #German, #English, #French) within #TXM, a process that requires using TreeTagger.
I know I could do that with #spaCy, selecting the right model for each text. But then I need to get those #annotations into shape for import into TXM.
