Im Rahmen der #playforward die Ausstellung »Pixelgedächtnis« im Stadtlabor #Göttingen besucht.
U.a. anhand von #Anno - ein #RTS-Game von UBISOFT - findet kritische Auseinandersetzung mit Kolonialismus statt.

Die Ausstellung zeigt auch, dass kritische Betrachtungen von Kolonialismus ohne Verbreiten von antiisraelischen und antisemitischen Klischees machbar ist.

New phone has arrived! Which means spending ages making it look as much like the old one as possible, ha ha. It's coming along. I've got the look mainly sorted, so now it's getting logged back into everything.

Past that, I'm in a slight gah, what to play lull. There's new content coming out for Anno 117: Pax Romana later this month, but like... I'm done with it for the second? I mean, I bought the year 1 pass, but. Ready for something else now. I would still prefer something I can watch tick by, because I'm making great headway on my sock (finally). I'll figure something out. Probably.

Was ein schöner Sonntag, eben erst Schluss gemacht. Wir haben wieder Anno 1503 im Netzwerk im Mehrspielermodus gespielt und diesmal wieder in einem extra Netzwerk, das lief so schön glatt und ruhig, kaum Probleme mit dem Spiel gehabt. Letzte Woche hatten wir es über das große Hausnetzwerk gespielt und das war eine reine Katastrophe 🙈. Jetzt nur noch so 🙂.
Gespielt mittels einem Windows & Linux Mint Rechner.

Sooo nach einigen Hin und Her heute mit der Bottle an meinem Desktop Rechner läuft sie nun endlich und die ersten 3 alten vintage Spiele sind erfolgreich drauf und gepatcht. Hier läuft nun auch die volle gepatchte Auflösung in Anno 1503, auf dem Notebook leider nicht das scheint aber tatsächlich an dessen Hardware zu liegen.
Somit sollte die morgige kleine LAN wieder gehen.

Nabend allerseits, kennt sich hier jemand mit dem Programm "Bottles" aus? Mich würde mal interessieren ob man in einer Bottle die Grafikeinstellungen anpassen/ändern kann denn wie hier dargestellt kann ich in Anno die hohe Auflösung nicht auswählen obwohl das Notebook selbst sie fährt (siehe Bilder). Läuft die Auflösung in Bottles eventuell separat und wenn ja kann man das beeinflussen?
