#MrBurns by #AnneWashburn is definitely a play of two halves! The first 2 acts follow a group of survivors from a nuclear disaster. They reminisce about #TheSimpsons and form a touring theater company, recreating episodes. The play is building into something more sinister as act two comes to a close. Jump forward 75 years for act 3. The episode the troupe were rehearsing in act 2 has now morphed into an overblown musical. It feels forced and doesn't really work. Could have been 2 separate plays.
