I already promoted The Newsreader [Australian series all about news' channels and two journalists [Anna Torv <3 and Sam Reid] in the 80s!] with its seasons 1 and 2 in my #rebcommendations - and now season 3 has been released! \o/////

Very well developed characters and many strong female roles without leaving true context of the 80s, neither concerning feminism nor the world politics during those years.

I'm loving it.

Just watched the first episode in French of season 1 of #thenewsreader #Lanouvelle in French, and I have to say I am already hooked, The series tell the story of behind the scene of a news room in Australia in 1986. Anna Torv that we have seen in #Fringe plays Helen Norville a woman newsreader who has to fight misogyny and sexism in the mid 1980´s. I read some where there is going to be a season 2 that is great news, #AnnaTorv

The performances in The Last of Us are phenomenal. Anna Torv in particular is excellent as Tess, and unrecognizable from her role in Mindhunter (more because of her performance than makeup and costume). I only realized she was in Mindhunter when I looked up her IMDB profile!
