Also, just putting this out there, for people playing Wild World out there, if you need Nookingtons and have access to a DS compatible wifi connection (or are playing on an emulator that supports online), I'm happy to come sell some random junk at your store to help you unlock it.
Offer open basically forever. Even when I'm not playing actively, I'm happy to boot up a random emulator town for you or whatever.
Small joys are when you can help a random stranger connect to replacement online servers for ancient nintendo games, and then come visit to help with stuff that's locked behind multiplayer. Nookingtons, you're pretty cool, but I'm so glad that requirement was dropped in later games.

I'm trying to do visits in Wild World more often in the hopes of meeting Katie *at least once* (also it's useful for buying more flowers), and I'm using my emulator town because I don't really feel like bothering other real people.
But that means like all the villagers that leave my town are moving there lol
I have been deemed worthy
I question Gracie's fashion sense, but you'll never see me admit that to her
Anyway, this is gonna be a long term project I guess
Also the only way to copy a design, that I've found anyway, is to put it on one of the mannequins in the clothing shop so you can go through Mable's "are you sure you want to replace one of your designs" dialogue for every single copy. You know, like if you want to make edge variations of a center tile without redrawing the whole thing every time
Anyone who complains about laying paths, or the custom design limit, in New Horizons has clearly never tried making decent looking roads in Wild World.
Ahh yes, let me just create a second character to hold another 8 designs, pay Mabel 350 bells for each edit, and then painstakingly lay each tile a couple at a time entering and exiting the design menu every time you have to move
I know I'm supposed to say "nice" here, but I was hoping for more... 😅

So this actually is a funny story
Victoria was a villager in my town on my real DS. She eventually moved away.
Later I did multiplayer with the emulator on my phone. She moved in and lived there for a while, then moved away.
The other night I did multiplayer between the emulator on my phone, and the emulator on my PC. She moved in *there*.
And she remembers my real DS player lol
Ahhhh! She used to live in my main NH town. I'm sorry you've moved to the weed infested hellscape that is my phone emulator town...

I need ideas for small symbols that would be recognizable as a silhouette, representing each game
Example:
City Folk - a city skyline 🏙️
New Horizons - a desert Island 🏝️
New Leaf could maybe be a leaf? But I'm not sold. And I have nothing for GameCube and Wild World.
