So you have to ask yourself, when it is not necessary for your wellbeing, does the pleasure of eating animal products justify the torture of sentient beings.
As opposed to Kurzgesagt's Opinion part, the solution isn't better prisons, when considering less than 5% of all chicken meat in the EU comes from, what can barely be called, decent conditions, why not just not eat the chicken and eat plants instead.
