Rods Out at Ballycotton

Seven anglers had the end of Ballycotton pier to themselves, rods out over the water, while the sun went down behind the far shore. I was there for the sunset and happy to photograph the fishermen looking for fish....

Płock – widok zza Wisły

Fotografia Płocka ujętego zza Wisły przedstawia stan wybrzeża rzeki sprzed ponad ćwierci wieku – zrobiłem ją w pierwszej połowie lat 90-tych aparatem Pentax 67. Kto mieszka w tym zacnym i starym mieście ma okazję do porównania co się w tym czasie zmieniło. Myślę, że wędkarze, jak dawniej, łowią ryby.

This photograph of Płock, taken from across the Vistula River, shows the riverbank as it was over a quarter of a century ago—I took it in the early 1990s with a Pentax 67 camera. Anyone who lives in this venerable old city has the opportunity to see how much has changed since then. I think that anglers, just as in the past, are still fishing.
