Company of Wolves reminds me of Pan's Labyrinth. del Toro must have seen it. And I bet he liked it. Maybe he's credited it as an influence. Until I hear otherwise, I'm gonna just assume it was a strong influence. I know he will be a fan of #AngelaCarter. How could he not be?

I'd seen clips from Company of Wolves before. But today is the first time I've watched the film from start to finish. Not sure why I never stuck with it before. Based on a short story from a collection by Angela Carter which should have won the Booker Prize. Good director. And some wonderful cast. Carter was also a co script writer.
