For ages, I have been on a quest for the ultimate productivity setup, constantly tweaking, adding, and removing tools in an endless cycle of optimization.

Recently, something shifted. I integrated NotebookLM into my daily routine, and it’s been a game-changer.

This isn’t another app review. It’s a testament to why I’m never going back to my old ways. Let me show you how NotebookLM fundamentally transformed the way I work and think.

NotebookLM is an official offering from Google that offers smooth integration with Workspace apps, such as Docs and Slides.

When I tackle a big project, I open a dozen Google Docs documents for research notes, meeting transcripts, client feedback, content drafts, and a few Google Slides presentations for project outlines.

It used to get frustrating and time-consuming when I wanted to find a specific piece of information or cross-reference a detail from a meeting in one document with a point in a slide deck.

That’s where NotebookLM jumped in to combine all my Google Workspace files. Now, for any given project, the first thing I do is create a new notebook in NotebookLM and upload all the relevant Google Docs and Slides files.
