The thing is, what he said in that Whatsapp group is what the Labour Right thinks of us all, and that isn't going away.
The Party let this fester, while drumming Left wing people out, for crimes such as "talking to Green Party members", the Party hates the idea of ordinary people writing in to their MP and expecting some kind of action, the Party is selling us out to Trump, hence all the cruelty that is tolerated. -
