"Skipper Olafur Einarsson räumte in der Zeitung "Kyst og Fjord" (Küste und Fjord) ein, dass er mit seinem Boot die maritime Sicherheitszone um den Weltraumbahnhof Andøya nicht rechtzeitig verlassen hatte. Deswegen war der Start am Mittwochabend um 21.21 Uhr abgebrochen worden."
