Bonjour 🙂
Je récupère difficilement d'un sinistre de carte "microSD" dans le téléphone #LineageOS et de tentatives hélas hasardeuses de transfert entre mémoire "intern" et mémoire "SD" et sans les précautions suffisantes...

Bon, entre autres problèmes 🤔 :

J'ai perdu l'usage de l'application #andOTP et je découvre 😵‍💫 que cette solution semble périmée et n'existe plus à l'installation dans @fdroidorg

#Aegis gefällt mir als Alternative auf dem ersten Blick ganz gut, aber dass das empfohlene Icon-Pack seit 2023 keine Updates mehr kriegt, macht auch wieder nicht son geilen Eindruck.

@fanch @bearstech je l'utilise depuis un peu plus de 2 ans, j'avais un peu fait le tour des possibilités. J'ai complété avec une #onlykey pour déverrouiller le gestionnaire quand je suis sur ordinateur, ce qui me permet d'utiliser un mot de passe fort. Sur le tel, j'utilise la biométrie.
Je me sers aussi de l'#otp pour rassembler tout dans la même application afin de m'éviter des manipulations parfois douloureuses(fibro), ça simplifie aussi la sauvegarde. J'ai utilisé #aegis avant ça, et encore avant #andOTP. Bref, jusqu'à maintenant, je suis comblé.

@Ripley_ für welches Betriebssystem denn? Ich benutze andOTP für Android.

@rostbot einige Jahre war ich glücklich mit andOTP , musste aber feststellen, dass die App nicht weiter gepflegt wird (abandoned). Seit etwa 1 Woche bin ich umgestiegen auf #Aegis. Dort konnte ich den Export aus andOTP problemlos importieren und ich kann auch hier Sicherungen anlegen. Das ganze ohne Cloud o.ä. damit nix "wegkommt". Von mir klare Empfehlung, auch für Umsteiger von #andOTP

A few weeks ago I noticed that #andOTP is deprecated.
I suggest everyone who uses it to switch to an alternative.
Aegis is working really well for me and supports the import of andOTP backups.

Für #Android Nutzer hat sich in meinen Augen die App #andOTP und für #iOS die App #OTPAuth bewährt. Beide sind kostenlos und ohne Tracking. Erstere sogar OpenSource

Hab angefangen durch mein #Keepass File zu gehen und alle Einträge mit neuem #Passwort zu versehen und wo möglich #2FA über #TOTP mit #andOTP zu aktivieren.

@[email protected] Indeed it's awesome but I purposely try not to keep all eggs in a single basket, so my login credentials sit separate from my 2FA in case of an unexpected breach from any of them. Having said that, I also use #Aegis and #andOTP in case Authy disappears overnight. :smart:

Wenn ihr schon gesehen haben solltet, dass #andOTP nicht mehr weiterentwickelt werden wird, darf ich euch eine persönliche Empfehlung als #Ersatz vorstellen:

Sowohl im #GooglePlayStore als auch bei #FDroid verfügbar und hat auch einen Import-Filter für andOTP.

@jonobie I use #andOTP which is #OpenSource and #Privacy friendly (no trackers, only one permission needed: camera), and works perfectly. I see mentions that it's unmaintained, however, since somewhere last year. Another open source app that people mention together with andOTP is #KeePassDX. Slightly more permissions, still no trackers. I don't have experience with this app, but might be of interest.

@tristao J'utilise #AndOTP, et je fais des sauvegardes. (Elles ont déjà servi une fois, après une panne du téléphone.)

@darnell Yes, Google Authenticator sucks, but 2FA is a standard so you don't have to use it even for a Google account.
