@ChiefGenealogist But this #AncestorPhoto may be of my most distant ancestor, Sarah (Covey) Stewart, b.1813. This photo was taken about 1900 and includes 4 generations of my x-great grandmothers. Sarah had 14 children. She would have been 87 in this photo.

@ChiefGenealogist Best as I can tell, my earliest #AncestorPhoto is from 1872, of my 3rd great grandparents, George and Annis Root, and their two children. Likely taken in Eaton Co., Michigan.

One of my hobbies for years has been #genealogy. I saw someone post their earliest #AncestorPhoto and got to thinking which of mine was oldest.

I believe it’s this one of John Anderson Berg in his Norwegian Military Uniform. I don’t know the exact year, but he was born in Reppe, Trondheim, Norway in 1850 and appears to be in his 20s.
