🎥 Το Ήσυχο Κορίτσι ("An Cailín Ciúin", Ιρλανδία, Colm Bairéad, 2022)
Την είδα προχτές σε αίθουσα και πραγματικά ίσως είναι από τις λίγες ταινίες που έχω δει πρόσφατα και στην μεγαλύτερη διάρκειά της έλεγα από μέσα μου "μα τι ώρα ταινία!"
Ήσυχη ταινία όπως προϊδεάζει και ο τίτλος. Υποψηφιότητα της Ιρλανδίας για τα όσκαρ 2023.

👧 Η μικρή Cáit (Catherine Clinch) μεγαλώνει σε μια πολύτεκνη, φτωχή και ίσως δυσλειτουργική οικογένεια μην έχοντας και την καλύτερη σχέση με τις αδερφές της αλλά ούτε και με τους γονείς της οι οποίοι είναι εμφανώς αδιάφοροι απεναντί της.

👪 Οι γονείς της έπειτα από μια νέα εγκυμοσύνη, αποφασίζουν να την στείλουν στην ξαδέρφη της μητέρας της (Carrie Crowley) και τον άντρα της (Andrew Bennett) για το καλοκαίρι. Στο νέο αυτό σπίτι η Cáit θα ξαναβρει το χρώμα της και οι "νέοι γονείς" της θα βρουν ξανά νόημα και παρηγοριά μέσα στα δικά τους ψυχολογικά ζόρια.
📑 Μικρό αλλά καλογραμμένο σενάριο, πολύ ωραία ατμόσφαιρα επαρχίας στην οποία ίσως βοηθάει και το ότι είναι γυρισμένη στην Ιρλανδική γλώσσα κι όχι στ'Αγγλικά, ωραίες ηθοποιίες, ειδικά από την μικρή Cáit και την Carrie Crowley.

🔇 Σκηνές σιωπής που λένε περισσότερα από μισής ώρας φλυαρία, ανθρώπινες καταστάσεις, παιδική αθωότητα, ψυχολογικά βάρη που χρονίζουν, τραύματα, αδιαφορία, τρυφερότητα.

👉 Ετοιμαστείτε για 95 λεπτά ψυχοθεραπείας... και αν συνήθως συγκινείστε με ταινίες τότε πάρτε και κανα έξτρα χαρτομάντηλο.

While Scots Gaelic (Gàidhlig) and Irish (Gaeilge) can be mutually intelligible, they aren't the same language (from friends I believe it is similar for Danish and Swedish).
