Ok, so I grabbed a sample pack of posed models from ArtStation and am very happy with this trace! (original image from Wide Angle Female Poses by Grafit Studio)

I think with a bit more practice I could make some OK character portraits for a visual novel with this technique, so I'm definitely going to purchase one of their photo packs with more models to practice more and have a license for using the resulting works in games~

This will be the first time I'm paying money for nudes -- I feel so mature.
