🎞️The most analog nyaa yet! Shot on some 20 year expired fujifilm slide film pushed by 2 stops.
The actual slides came out very white but a little bit of editing restored a ton.
Todays ambrotype will preserve a memory of my cherry tree. I have so many wonderful memories with that tree since I was a little kid. Now I have to say goodbye, because the recent years hit hard on it. I explain everything in my video ( https://youtu.be/9sL7XgjTSZo ) and on my blog ( blog.mhaustria.com ).It's a story of a new beginning and an end. In the video you can see how beautiful a 12x16" ambrotype can be. #cherrytree #cherryblossom #ambrotype #wetplate #analogphotograpy #collodion

I excuse this been-there done-that exercise in perspective as a camera test… Colonnade arbor, Old-Fashioned Garden, Sonnenberg Gardens, Canandaigua, Finger Lakes, upstate New York, June 2023.
Showa Optical “Semi Leotax R” folding camera circa 1953, 6x4.5, Bergger Pancro 400, process/scan by The Darkroom Lab, scratches from transport retouched in Photoshop. Pancro400 seems more scratch-prone than Delta 100.
