#Anacortes/#SanJuanIslands route on 2-boat service for rest of night. We will not take any vehicle reservation holders after 7p & no longer taking new standby vehicles out of #Anacortes, #OrcasIsland & #FridayHarbor to help those waiting at terminals get to their destinations.

Our crew launched a rescue boat, bringing 4 of the 6 people aboard #Samish, giving them medical attention, food & hot water bottles. Other 2 waited for arrival of @USCGPacificNW personnel, who escorted them to #Anacortes while our crew used ferry to shield them during transit. https://t.co/Q8PBpPpKDR

Employee shot this from #Issaquah during rough seas Tuesday near Strait of Juan de Fuca. We were moving vessel w/o passengers to #Anacortes. Damage minimal. This has no effect on service. #Chelan has been towed out of #FridayHarbor and is en route to #Anacortes. #Salish is heading up to the #SanJuanIslands and will begin service as the Interisland boat beginning with the 215p sailing out of Friday Harbor.

#BNSFRailway #train #derailed early Thursday morning on the #SwinomishReservation near #Anacortes , Wash., spilling about 2,500 gallons of #diesel , according to the #WashingtonState Department of Ecology.
#DepartmentOfEcology spokesperson Scarlet Tang told #NativeNewsOnline the train derailed on a berm near the #PadillaBay , but most of the subsequent #spillage occurred on the “land side,” away from nearby water sources.
