#amr2026 — Public Fediverse posts

#dotwatching #mountainraces #Dotwatch

And as suspected after some of the pictures shared on social media, Cynthia is a total cat person. 😻

Alee (@cyclingabout - not here) made a nice video on the aspects of what makes a fast and comfortable (as comfort is fast) Atlas Mountain Race bike on basis of the 2026 Rigs: https://youtu.be/KLt442zHCks?si=zV73UEW0Csy0o5_7

Check it out if f you like to hear and see in a concise form what I'm telling you since before the inaugural edition.

And helped inform quite some participants as I know from your feedback over the years. Always grateful when you reach out, guys. :)

Jenny always giving the hard, but worthwhile read for ongoing stuff....

Also great content warning: "WARNING: from now on, I’m going to talk about menstruation. If that is a problem for you, and bless your innocent little patriarchal heart if it is, you may want to leave now."

Wow, compared to Victor yesterday, Cynthia looks chill, and is pretty talkative after 1400k of racing. Even able to lift her bike. 😄

If you follow me on Instagram you might have seen that as usual I posted a few tidbits and comments about the Atlas Mountain Race 2026 unfolding. Which has a podium since last night. Today I posted this short look into the first 5 (6) and how crazy close this edition was:

Almost.
What reminds me, what are Robin Gemperle and Alex McCormack doing these days?

(Justinas is preparing for Iditarod...)

Victor Bosoni gewinnt #TCR und #amr2026

Victor Bosoni macht es wohl. #amr2026

All this Morocco coverage makes me want to ride my bike in the desert.

#biketooter #amr2026

immer noch super spannend #amr2026

#amr2026 immer noch super spannend. Bosoni an 4.

Anyone thinking sub 4 days is possible? Top riders have made more than half the track in less then 2 days. Bad weather in the beginning, but also pavement. And I guess there's exhaustion setting in. Kind of expecting some people in the front to scratch soon...

Sebastian Trimborn, Victor Bosoni, Ole Bjørn Smisethjell Sehr spannend! ##amr2026

#amr2026 Victor überholt

Bisher mein liebstes #AMR2026 Setup ❤️

Atlas Mountain Race quote of the day:

"In other news, Chris Mehlman’s Freehub grease froze, and he had to pee on it in the middle of the night to warm it up. The things we do for the love of the sport."
