Sounds like a challenging and competitive competition for the Stone Skimming World Championships in Easdale, over the weekend. One day I must try to go along to this brilliant event, but I can't imagine I'll ever be good enough to reliably compete!

For whatever reason, I simply haven't been on the shore all that much, this summer. A trip to our old favourite, Cockenzie in East Lothian, was called for.
...And an #AmperSand was thusly delivered. It's been too long.

An #AmperSand made in Cockenzie, yesterday.
A bit of a rush job, this one, as the tide came in quicker than I'd expected! It probably lasted less than fifteen minutes, once I'd completed it. I rather like seeing them fade away, like this.
