  8. There's an amoeba swimming in my brain
Trying hard to drive me insane
How it got there, I don't know
I've been rinsing my nose with water, though

Although this Neti pot thing is something I chose
I probably shouldn't put dirty water up my nose
Alas, it's too late for me
But not for you, you see.

  23. "#Aliens? #Vegetables? Nope, vegetable and #animal bridge #mushrooms. They're the myxomycetes, and they can move and hunt for prey or look for the best environment for them. They are born from spores, like mushrooms.
#Myxomycetes move like huge #amoebas, like pulsating masses; their movements seem to be dependent on microfibrils that remember the fibers of the muscles. These "blobs′′ crawl (at a speed of 1 cm per hour) #phagocusing #bacteria, #algae, #yeasts, #protozoa and other #organic material as they go; they digest them and expel the remains outside. Not randomly, mixomycetes proliferate where there are plenty of prey - on decomposing logs or on carpets of dead, wet leaves. And so they're often found in the #woods, #yellow, #purple, #blue, #red, thanks to the #pigments they contain.

  28. One of the things that makes us humans different from #amoebas is curiosity.
I invite you to recover #Mathematics, #Physics and #Chemistry from #HighSchool and approach problems without fear.
Who can not be wrong is who does not try.
Go out into the field with a telescope and show your children the planets and stars at night.
Your children will always remember you for it.
    Amoebas never doubt
    Human beings doubt.
Science is not a dogma, it is made to criticize it.
