Moin 👋 Ja ein paar alte Freunde hätten bestimmt ein wenig Freunde am Inhalt der neuen Folge 🙂 wenn ich an die Demoabende bei Wolle zurückdenke … wir hatten so oft zum Spaß einfach nur neue Mods gehört!

I’m a bit of a retro computer nut. Just one of my adhd obsessions that comes back to haunt me regularly.
Anyways this is unspoken in the scene, but I feel I have to address it.

My most anticipated event of the year, #Amiga40 took place last week. I had the honour of being one of the guests there.
I met many old friends and made some new ones. I attended a concert by FastLoaders. I debuted 3 new #Amiga cosplays. I spent the weekend with people to whom I never had to explain “why Amiga?”, let alone “what Amiga?”!
To sum it up, I had a wonderful time at Amiga40. It was one of the best events I’ve ever attended, Amiga-themed or otherwise.
Fingers crossed for Amiga42!

What an extraordinary moment it was! Amiga40 exceeded our expectations! An incredible number of Amiga personalities per square meter, plenty of announcements, games revealed for the first time, but most of all, highly enjoyable meetings with you, the Amiga fans and users. So happy to have seen some of you again and to have met others. Thank you for coming to see us! And thanks to the organizers of this event, which brought together over 2,000 people in two days.

Hi to all my new and old followers and fellow Amiga fans!
I’m back from Amiga40. I’ll post about the event soon, but first I have a lot of photos to go through and thoughts to sort out. Spoiler: the event was fantastic!
In the meantime, here’s a great photo of The Machine, taken by Rudolf Stember. Seeing all the photos and hearing the overwhelmingly positive feedback has been really rewarding. This cosplay took me 980 hours to make, but it was worth it.

@Wintermute_BBS @Satiah i mean sure when you define walking 33.5km in circles in a box - jk - kinda... the walking distance is real. one of my highligts are our interview with the "OG Amiga Crew" that we had in our "honeytrap" at the #amiga40 backstage area - watching them together after all these years... ...you can tell how they interact with eachother that they had a very special time before commodore bought amiga. the event was so full of legends... we startet to sort trought our medias and will release very soon the first picture gallery
