I can't quite describe how I feel now I've seen the stolen items. Loss, shock, anger, sadness, disbelieve in the stupidity of people, and more. These are precious symbols of #Welsh #history and #culture. We have struggled with erasure for centuries and this feels like another blatant disregard for our identity. Nation Cymru: Thousands of images from Amgueddfa Cymru now available to access online. “Amgueddfa Cymru has released over 2000 images into the public domain making them freely available on a new platform. It puts Wales at the forefront of open access and on par with global museums such as the Natural History Museum, Smithsonian, Rijksmuseum, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.”
