(sigh) McCarthy needs to go. His play design and playcalling put Dak in the position to need to chuck desperation passes into double and triple coverage again tonight.
Granted, he did miss a trio of 49ers between himself and CeeDee at one point, and that does occasionally happen. It always has. But even with that, Dak isn't the problem. McCarthy is.

I can see why Pickens was salty tonight...only 3 catches on 7 targets? It seemed like every time they threw at him, Jourdan Lewis was on him like a cheap suit.
Good thing the refs broke up Lewis and Pickens after that last play. Lewis would have owned him for that cheap-shot after the play was over. There's no back-down in the guy.

- 1st 2 turnovers not Dak's fault, last one was
- 28 & 6 need benched NOW. 28 taking horrible angles, 6 being stupid
- 89 impressive, TE2 maybe?
- 1 is a legit WR2, we'll be in good shape when Cooks back
- Rico is da man. Start him.
- Zeke is cooked. Bench him. Elevate Dalvin.
- D-Line was deep & we didn't know it till now.
- Give 50 some downs off. When he's tired he gets dumb.

2-2 doesn't seem so bad now that the Eagles lost (thank you, Law). We looked better against the Giants, but we have plenty to work on and big injuries to deal with.

1-0 is a great start to the season. Dak being re-signed was a great start before we even played.
Not a perfect win by any means, but a place to start. The first half was mostly great, the second half was kinda crappy.
