I managed to miss the live of the last race, so had to rewatch it after the fact, but it was a good race. I'm kinda happy the Brits still didn't manage to get back the #AmericasCup, but they put up a hell of a fight.
Looking forward to the next cup, tho I still don't like the AC75. -

As New Zealand goes head to head with Great Britain in its defence of the America’s Cup, the Kiwis have a secret weapon, a Māori waka (canoe) that will lead them into the contest.
The race began on 12 October and is due to end a week later. Each race day, the waka will lead Team New Zealand out of Barcelona harbour as a “Māori guard of honour”, says Graham Tipene, coordinator of the waka that is crewed almost entirely by members of the Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei iwi (tribe).
There will also be a haka performed on the water and some of the crew will go in with the team to perform karakia (prayers and incantations) before they go out to race.
“What differentiates us from the other teams … is our deep connection to the ocean and the land and our guardianship of it,” Tipene says.

To be honest, I find the 6 boat races of the #americascup women races more interesting to watch. Might just be that 6 boats are more fun to watch than the 1vs1 matchups with the bigger boats; more action I guess. #sailing

Went to lunch at a beachside restaurant here in Barcelona and caught the final race of the Louis Vuitton cup. We were watching the boats go back and forth in front of us as we watched the live freed on YouTube on my phone for the commentary and detail view.
Congratulations to INNEOS Britannia for that most decisive win against Luna Rosa Prada Pirelli! It was exciting to watch.
The British will go on to challenge the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron aboard Taihoro, in the #AmericasCup between 12-20 November
