The evening’s “live” selection on deck also happens to be one of my “Iraq songs” I’d listen to while deployed there in 2004.

#AmericanStandardToo heavy too light, too black or too white,
too wrong or too right, today or tonight
Cumbersome
Too rich or too poor, she's wanting me less
And I'm wanting her more
The bitter taste is Cumbersome -
Just sittin on deck waiting for a storm system to roll in. I think it’s time for a little 90s grunge. 😉

#AmericanStandardI'd like to believe we could reconcile the past
Resurrect those bridges with an ancient glance
But my old stone face can't seem to break her down
She remembers bridges, burns them to the groundI have become Cumbersome
To this world
I have become Cumbersome

…without a shred of doubt, #AmericanStandard is a work of art, agonizing in its honesty and relentless in its pursuit of sonic transcendence. It is hideous. It is beautiful. It is necessary.

Hello anyone, is there anybody here from the USA?
I'm looking for a present for my dad. His .. curious .. dream is to install an All American piston flush valve on his garden urinal.
Yes, I know.Maybe someone can help me out where to buy (for shipping to EU)?

The heel cap repair is happening this week. He cut a triangle into two of the layers on the back and will glue three layers of maple over the heel to interlock with the back. This will provide additional strength. Pretty clever solution.

My King Moretone is in the shop for a neck repair and a new bridge. It’s been unplayable since April, and I’ve been playing a loaner Kay M1 in the interim.
I suspected a loose glue joint, but it turns out the neck block was cracked in many places. My luthier has been showing off some of his serious chops on this one.
