The Uruguayan oil refinery, the port, the beaches and the waterfront promenade -better known as the Rambla-, the most vulnerable neighborhoods and the wealthiest ones are at risk of being flooded -in 80 years' time and in an extreme scenario- if the effects of climate change are not curbed, according to public information released by the Uruguayan State.
