CF Signals: Damne, Mogo – Fading Pulse [Wetland]
Wetland returns to CF Signals with Fading Pulse, a new collaboration between Damne and Mogo that brings together two uncompromising techno cuts built for the dancefloor. The release moves through different shades of tension, from an atmospheric pull to a more chaotic drive and a hypnotic persistence. Across the two tracks, the focus remains firmly on rhythm, pressure and the kind of momentum that makes sense when the room is already deep into the night.

At the centre of the release is Damne & Mogo, two artists whose work has found its way through Russia’s and Mexico’s independent electronic music landscape and beyond. Damne has developed a catalogue rooted in techno and club-focused electronics, with releases and appearances connecting him to a wide range of underground contexts. Mogo, meanwhile, has maintained an active presence both as an artist and through his work around Tlaloc Records, moving between production, live performance and the broader ecosystem that surrounds independent electronic music. Their collaboration feels particularly suited to Wetland’s catalogue: direct, functional and unapologetically focused on the floor.

For this CF Signals premiere, we are putting the spotlight on the title track, Fading Pulse. The track takes the release’s sense of propulsion and pushes it into a more concentrated space, gradually locking into a groove that feels less interested in resolution than in maintaining pressure. There is a certain physicality to its repetition, the kind that allows the track to become part of the room rather than simply sitting on top of it. It is techno built around momentum, with the pulse doing most of the talking.
