    The danger is be for things to connect like #AmazonSidewalk, or you will have no router and connect direct to the #5G tower or #spaceExplorer's (memecoiner's) shartellite network.

    Open letter to EFF,

    Hi @eff,

    We are concerned that #AmazonSidewalk might be designed to create a #closedCorporateInternet.

    If we are going to go down the route of a #meshNet then the #technology must be open. This means #openHardware (in so far as #circuitry that is #printable).

    What #Amazon is creating is a disgrace to an open and supposedly free society.

    We are considering whether a recall of their #AmazonRing, #EchoSpeakers and other products should be enacted.

    Ethics are learned over time. The job of a #fediInstance host is to exercise best judgement with the info they have.

    The ability to speak info, today manifestly access to #theInternet is therefore paramount — a fundamental #humanRight, and why we are dogged in our efforts to bring justice to those persecuting JulianAssange.

    Attempts by #Amazon to create and #corporateClosedInternet in #AmazonSidewalk must be completely decimated.
