  1. Never again will I purchase an #AmazonBasics product. It's all cheap landfill. I might as well set my delivery address to be the local dump.

This power strip lasted 18 months. The outlets pulled out of the frame. Several of the outlets heated up and smoked with only a 100W load.

I have another power strip that I bought in 1984 at second hand store. It is still completely functional, nothing broken, completely solid build quality.

#amazon you are the very definition of #enshitification.

  2. Because I often buy index cards in tranches of 5,000 to 10,000 at a time, I’ve noticed that Oxford recently dropped their brick of 500 4×6″ index cards to $6.47, a new low for the past year when they’ve generally been hovering in the $8.50-9.50 range. As a competitive move, Amazon has dropped their competing brick to $5.82, also a new annual low. If your card index habit is price sensitive, now is the time to buy.

  3. Do rechargable batteries (AA, AAA, etc.) stink, or do they *all* stink?

It seems that whatever I plug them into, even immediately after charging, reports the battery as being very low.

    1. Started watching Ozark on Netflix this weekend. Can't wait for more. Season two, here we come.

    2. Received my sleep mask today.

    3. Have down alternative pillows at my second home, my boyfriend's place, now. Slept hella better. I have a Serta at home, but ended up going with Amazon Basics Down Alternative pillow set based on Good Housekeeping magazine ratings.
