#Sunday #AmaturePhotography #Weather #photography I'm posting this photo again because I don't think anyone saw it previously. This is a "Sundog", or "parhelion" caused by ice crystals and refracting light. As a child I learned about them while reading about the Wars of The Roses and the York brothers "3 suns" in the sky before the Battle of Mortimors' Cross. I looked for decades to see one. Finally, now in my 60's I saw this one in Tucson on 4/24/25

#CaturdayEve As a child I looked for a sundog for years. Decades later, I finally saw one yesterday! So cool that we now have smartphones now! #WeatherPhenomenon #AmaturePhotography

My catto says thank you for all the likes, though I think she's calling you all "peasants" by her adorable expression. What a royal farm cat.
Also please check out my other content, I'm a photographer from Cheshire and I try my best so I hope some of you like.

Which do you like the most? I really messed around a lot with edits to help my skills develop for these geese. 1,2,3,4

You only saw this duck from the amazing Ellesmere lake, England. Because #facebook is #facebookdown .
It took me 2 hours to get this shot with the water clear enough, and the light in this way. And an hour to edit it to how I liked. So I hope you all find some interest in it.

Final edit(1), lighting image(2) and raw image(3). Which do you like most?
I was just down at #ellesmerelake yesterday and managed to get this adorable sleepy duck photo. I made sure to be slow, and keep a good distance because I didn't want to scare her or stress her out. But look how cute.
