Bobbie Nelson and Amanda Shires - Loving You
A Record Store Day 2023 purchase, and a lovely coda to Bobbie Nelson's life, this album recorded with Amanda Shires in 2022 grew out of a desire to put "Always on My Mind" on Take It Like a Man with Bobbie playing piano...and it grew into a whole album.
Rothman did a great job recording these beautifully performed songs. (My pressing has a brief occurrence of non-fill, alas, but otherwise sounds nice.)
