I wouldn't normally link to twitter, but this is a very good critique of that absolutely terrible TV ad from the Alzheimers Society saying that somene with dementia 'died three times', when she lost various abilities. I'm so glad to hear we weren't alone in being horrified at the tone. Yes, you lose aspects of the person you know, and it can be hard. But they're not dead, for goodness' sake.

I had my flu jab this morning, so I quickly got a run in afterwards before any symptoms kicked in. I did 10K to Bait's Bite Lock and back in 58 mins. In the few days left before a week on Sunday, I'm going to do some faster 1500m runs to wake my legs and lungs up a bit!
