I think a lot of people didn't realise that the BSOD entry by #ProximaCentauri at the #AltParty Dynamic Demo compo had dynamic music. That aspect really stood out for me.

Overall I still feel we have yet to see the full potential of the dynamic demo, when art and technical mastery come together in all aspects of the demo. But we took one step closer.

I did a quick comparison of how the #AltParty was covered on multiple social media platforms and #Mastodon is the clear winner. Even if you dismiss my posts (and some orgs on other platforms), Mastodon still comes out on top.

It seems the hacker and digital arts communities have already really moved here.

I think that means we need to be more active with the @AltParty account if we organise more events.

Finally home after the last day of the #AltParty. Everyone did a great job in bringing something wonderful back to life. I really hope there will be more to come.

One personal highlight for me at the #AltParty was to meet Cessi after many years. She was the runner of the previous iteration of the @AltParty. An amazing coincidence as she wasn’t even aware there was an Alt Party on. She lives in Berlin these days and just happened to be in Helsinki and just happened to decide, with her partner, to come and see the Museum of Technology.

The stars were truly aligned. Wow.
