Europa (she/her), one of our younger alters. She is a teenaged mallgoth and stoner. She is generally upbeat, but wrestles with our schizoaffective bipolar more than most of the rest of us. As a result, she has a substance abuse issue and struggles with self harm. But she is well loved and cared for by our system.

#DID #OSDD #alters #plural Does anyone else experience physical or subjective differences in perceiving reality? I'd like to hear about them if you do.

An obvious one for me is the differences in pain perception since I experience chronic pain. Sometimes I don't feel much of anything, sometimes I only feel pressure, other times I feel everything.

Sometimes it feels like my vision improves and I can read the smaller text on my monitor perfectly well. Things seem brighter too. Preferences aside, I feel like I perceive music differently too. The same treble can sound either sweet or grating.
