An obvious one for me is the differences in pain perception since I experience chronic pain. Sometimes I don't feel much of anything, sometimes I only feel pressure, other times I feel everything.
Sometimes it feels like my vision improves and I can read the smaller text on my monitor perfectly well. Things seem brighter too. Preferences aside, I feel like I perceive music differently too. The same treble can sound either sweet or grating. -
