👁️ A ver, profundicemos un poco más porque el tema del alter ego tiene más miga de la que parece.
Realmente todos tenemos uno, aunque muchos prefieran llamarlo simplemente "ponerse la máscara" según sople el viento.
Al final, no deja de ser nuestra herramienta de supervivencia social más básica; ese escudo que sacamos a pasear para gestionar situaciones que a nuestro "yo" más vulnerable le vienen grandes.
Sirve para cuando tienes que dar un golpe en la mesa, negociar algo importante o, simplemente, para soltar una verdad incómoda sin que te tiemble el pulso.
Es ese filtro que recibe los golpes para que tu sensibilidad real no se lleve todo el impacto.La cuestión es si sabemos utilizarlo o si él nos utiliza a nosotros.
La mayoría de la gente lo hace de forma inconsciente: cambian el tono de voz en el trabajo o se vuelven de piedra en una reunión tensa.
Pero el verdadero poder está en hacerlo consciente.
Cuando tú decides cuándo sale esa versión más cañera, tú tienes el mando.
El problema viene cuando dejas que el personaje te coma el terreno y te olvidas de cómo volver a ser tú misma; ahí es cuando la cosa se tuerce.¿Es bueno o malo?
Pues ni una cosa ni la otra, es una herramienta.
Es positivo cuando te da la libertad de ser sincera y directa, permitiéndote explorar facetas que de otro modo tendrías dormidas por el miedo al "qué dirán".
Pero se vuelve peligroso si lo usas para esconderte siempre o para engañarte a ti misma.
Al final, el alter ego es ese aliado que dice las cosas que tú piensas pero que a veces te callas por educación.
Es la voz que se planta ante la realidad y dice que si ella no habla de esto, no lo va a hacer nadie.
No es que seamos personas falsas, es que somos demasiado complejas para caber en una sola etiqueta.

The result was a complete defense verdict and the case settled, for less than the last defense 998, right before openings of the Phase 2 Jury Trial (elder neglect, negligence, fraud, financial elder abuse, and wrongful death), which Ms. Decker was also on the trial team for.
