I've resisted expanding my small local Meshcore mesh network for 6 months wanting to make sure all was working, and for me to fully understand the system.
It now has 2 regular users, 2 repeaters and a room server. Now think its time to spread some wings and expand into the next valley (Orgiva). Let's see if there is anybody out there wanting further to the mesh.

I have updated the photo essay, Exploring Capileira in Photos, with a series of night photos, all in black and white.
Once the sun sets, Capileira is transformed; streetlights are soft and few, so the whitewashed houses seem to glow gently under the stars. Away from the village centre, the soundscape becomes mostly natural and quiet — maybe the trickle of water running down the acequias...

I've been out guiding with author Chris Stewart today on the GR240 and GR7 trails between Hoya del Portillo and Busquisar in the Sierra Nevada. Stunning day with super views. Found a solitary gentian in a stream bed, a couple of weeks more and there will be hundreds! Apart from our group we saw not another soul en route in 6 hours of hiking.

Water in the Rio Lanjarón and Acequia Nueva yesterday. No tripod, so attempted to slow down the water by hand holding down to 1/8th second.
N.B An "acequia" " is an irrigation channel" that takes water from one valley to the next along the mountainside.
