it's really funny and also cursed how this thing transfers text to your computer
you hook it up via USB and it acts as a keyboard right? but it literally spits out the entirety of the text in the file when you press "send." like a ghost typing. so you have to open a text file on your computer and let it retype everything one letter at a time xD
incredibly cursed but also very future-proofed i hear :3

modern ones like the freewrites are SUPER goddamn expensive but this ancient thingy right here? legiterally from like nearly 20 years ago!!! they were used in classrooms so you can find em secondhand very cheap... but IT. WORKS. SO. GOOD.
i've been able to get into the zone writing and ACTUALLY STAY THERE FOR A MEANINGFUL AMOUNT OF TIME. i can't do that on my laptop. i get so fucking distracted so easily. but this forces me to focus
i've just been writing journal entries on it so far. gonna do that every day i think. to flex the writing muscles and all that. it makes me actually wanna write. i get sucked into it totally. it's so good. if you're a super ADHD writer like me who struggles with staying on task i cannot recommend this highly enough
