They are literally Charlie Brown and the GOP is Lucy van Pelt. They'll keep playing by the GOPs rules and will keep losing.

You know, generally and broadly speaking the GDPR is a good thing. If you have personally identifiable data that an organization has, you can use the GDPR (in places it applies) to seek privacy.

But it is not a stick for people to swing around to get what they want.
Just saying something is applicable for deletion does not make it so. You can't make threats and expect orgs to just comply because of that. #AllTheCoffee

When I worked in banks, almost all of my managers eventually had a GFY response when the business pushed to hard.
In my current role it never comes up (I don't work directly for financials) but sometimes as a opensource project volunteer it sure gets close to being used. #AllTheCoffee
