Musical Interlude: I'm a longtime fan of Los Straitjackets, having picked up their first CD because I was intrigued by their name. (True story.) Known for fierce instrumental surf/spy guitar, they've dabbled in vocal music from time to time, including this cover of a Jessi Colter song. I groove to the backing vocals whenever I listen to it.
