Pozostałym albo statek się zepsuł po drodze, albo ktoś rezygnował z powodów osobistych, bo mieliśmy płynąć dwa tygodnie, a zrobiło się sześć. Zorganizowanie flotylli kilkudziesięciu statków z przedstawicielami tylu krajów, bo było ich w końcu 47, w tak krótkim czasie, było przedsięwzięciem karkołomnym.
Z komunikacją bywało różnie, to była trochę pływająca wieża Babel.
Ale skoro rządy nie podejmują wystarczających działań, żeby powstrzymać ludobójstwo, milczą, albo wręcz legitymizują to, co robi Izrael, to nasza inicjatywa była jak jedyna karta na stole, jeżeli nawet nie idealna, to trzeba było nią zagrać, żeby zwrócić uwagę świata na to, co się dzieje w Gazie. To był akt desperacji i rozczarowania światem polityki, który używa wielkich słów o demokracji, czy prawach człowieka, ale gdy trzeba działać, zawodzi"

"Wróciłem do Krakowa po 40 dniach nieobecności. Brałem udział w Flotylli Sumud, której celem było przełamanie nielegalnej blokady Gazy i dostarczenie pomocy dzieciom palestyńskim.

Mimo brutalnego ataku izraelskiej armii okupacyjnej na flotyllę na wodach międzynarodowych – mimo pirackiego abordażu, porwania uczestników i naszego uwięzienia w bardzo trudnych warunkach – osiągnęliśmy wielki krok naprzód na drodze solidarności z narodem palestyńskim i izolowania Izraela na arenie międzynarodowej.

Wróciłem do Krakowa, by kontynuować tę drogę walki i solidarności.
Jutro odbędą się cztery demonstracje w głównych miastach Polski.

Z tej okazji dziękuję narodowi polskiemu za ogromne wsparcie – materialne i moralne.
