Dnes je to deset let, co odešel Allen Toussaint – muž, který dal New Orleansu noblesu a groovu hloubku. Skladatel, producent, pianista, vizionář. A taky elegán, který nosil kožené sandály a pestrobarevné ponožky – stejně jako dnes Pánko Pudink, když mu vzdává poctu v pražských ulicích.

My brother-in-law (deceased) was related to Allen Toussaint & my sister & I went to see him perform in Napa a year or so before he passed away.
I never realized how musically important he was until then & it was a special experience to watch him perform & visit with him backstage w/my sister after the show.
RIP, Allen. 🙏
