The #AlleganyArtisans had a gallery at my local library.
Loved the #color and the #texture coming through on this shot.

A fun one for #TextureTuesday. At a recent #AlleganyArtisans gallery, there was a bag made from what looks like felted #wool yarn. It was neat in #macro, and the lighting was perfect.

🧵 I loved the proportions of this #teapot and #vase. So many curves and textures and colors. So good. I wish I had gotten the artist's name.

🧵 This glass was part of a larger piece, but it kept drawing my eye. Different layers hold different details to explore. And then the macro shots brought out that much more.

🧵 This hanging was beautiful. I'm not sure if the components were foraged and curated or created. But the final effect was very interesting.

🧵 These vases were interesting—particularly the handles and the rougher texture of the one with the white sections. Again, I don't know the artist.

🧵 This frog sculpture (artist unknown) looked so interesting that I had to give it a shot capturing the texture with the extension tubes.

Hairpins forged by one of our local bladesmiths, Seth Boehnke. They're phenomenal, and I finally had an opportunity to get a picture of them that I hope does them justice.

🧵 My library recently had an exhibition for a local arts group called #AlleganyArtisans. The following thread is photos I took at the gallery.
If you happen to know the artist in any of these, please do tag them. I completely missed name plates on most of these…
