Seems like everybody has to program Rhapsody in Blue for its centenary; this will be the third time I've heard it this year (and the third different orchestration). But the rest of tonight's Juilliard Orchestra program is far more exciting, with Hovhaness and Barber symphonies and a new-to-me Joan Tower piece.
