Fellow #RobertBParker fans, here are my early impressions of 2024's announced continuation novels - #AlisonGaylin's 2nd #SunnyRandall and #MikeLupica's 2nd #Spenser: https://chatterrific.blogspot.com/

On sale tomorrow, #AlisonGaylin joins the #RobertBParker #Continuation effort w/ her #SunnyRandall #Novel #RobertBParkersBadInfluence. Here's my #Review: https://chatterrific.blogspot.com/2023/02/robert-b-parkers-bad-influence-by.html #Bookstodon

I believe #MikeLupica got the #SunnyRandall job, his first Parker estate work, with sample pages. #AlisonGaylin wrote 20 sample pages and got the job to pick up Randall as Lupica moved on to #Spenser: https://chatterrific.blogspot.com/2022/01/the-future-of-robert-b-parkers-sunny.html

I review #RobertBParkersBadInfluence, the June 13, 2023 #SunnyRandall continuation #novel by #AlisonGaylin: https://chatterrific.blogspot.com/2023/02/robert-b-parkers-bad-influence-by.html

#AlisonGaylin's June 2023 #SunnyRandall continuation #RobertBParkersBadInfluence mentions billionaire couple Bill and Lydia Welch, which I immediately thought was a nod to #SJRozan's #PrivateEye #Characters #BillSmith and #LydiaChin. Fair chance I'm wrong, but fair chance I'm right.

I've begun #reading the #NetGalley of #AlisonGaylin's June 2023 first #SunnyRandall continuation #novel, #RobertBParkersBadInfluence. The prose, while perhaps not exactly like #RobertBParker, is as immediately readable as Parker.

Looking forward to #AlisonGaylin's June 2023 1st #SunnyRandall continuation #novel, #ROBERTBPARKER'S BAD INFLUENCE: https://www.penguinrandomhouse.com/books/711819/robert-b-parkers-bad-influence-by-alison-gaylin/

On the #RobertBParker continuation front, #AlisonGaylin is taking over #SunnyRandall from #MikeLupica as Lupica moves to #Spenser. Gaylin's first Randall #novel, ROBERT B. PARKER'S BAD INFLUENCE, will be published June 13, 2023. Here's a bit more info: https://chatterrific.blogspot.com/2022/10/coming-june-13-2023-robert-b-parkers.html
